Buley Library - Ground Floor

April is National Poetry Month, a literary celebration that marks the importance of poetry in our lives and honors the great poets. It was established in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets, a non-profit organization, primarily to increase awareness and appreciation of poetry in the United States. Come check out the poetry exhibit in Buley Library featuring books on American and English poets and poetry, children’s poems, poetry genres, teaching poetry, and poetry criticism. You can even create your own poem using our magnetic poetry kit.
