Reiss has taken climate change and made it personal. He captures the expanse, the challenge, and the potential of the changing arctic, and the clear need for a bold national strategy to realize the promise of this extraordinary frontier. He engages his audience in storytelling, showing us how the greenhouse effect is changing our lives. Jan Ellen Spiegel has won awards for her reporting on energy, environment, and food and culture. In 2013 she was the recipient of a Knight Journalism Fellowship at MIT on energy and climate.
