Join the Taoist Tai Chi SocietyŽ for tea and tai chi. A 40-minute discussion, demo, and lesson with a tea break with light refreshments to discuss with others our experience practicing the set.
Taoist Tai Chi is an internal art and method that incorporates stretching and turning into a sequence of movements that improves the health of body, mind, and spirit. It reduces tension, improves circulation and balance, and increases strength and flexibility. These meditative practices and principles are rooted in Chinese tradition and draw influences from the Taoist philosophy of living in harmony.
