A Fiction & Poetry Reading: Michael White and Antoinette Brim



Michael White is the author of six novels: Soul Catcher; A Brother's Blood, which was a New York Times Book Review Notable Book; The Blind Side of the Heart, A Dream of Wolves, and The Garden of Martyrs. His latest novel, Beautiful Assassin, won the 2011 Connecticut Book Award for Fiction. White is the founder and director of Fairfield University's MFA Creative Writing Program.

 

 
antoinette brimAntoinette Brim, author of two collections of poetry, Icarus in Love (Main Street Rag, 2013) and Psalm of the Sunflower (Willow Books, 2009), is a recipient of the Walker Foundation Scholarship to the Fine Arts Work
Center in Provincetown, and a Pushcart Prize nominee. Her poetry, memoir and critical work have appeared in various journals and magazines including the Tidal Basin Review, 95Notes, and Southern Women's Review. Brim is an assistant professor of English at Capital Community College.
