Tim Parrish is author of two new books: Fear and What Follows, The Violent Education of a Christian Racist, A Memoir (University Press of Mississippi); and The Jumper, a novel (Winner of Texas Review Press's 2012 George Garrett Prize for Fiction). Parrish is also author of Red Stick Men, a collection of stories. His work has appeared in Alive and Awake in the Pelican State, Best of LSU Fiction, French Quarter Fiction, and elsewhere He has taught at SCSU since 1994.

Jeff Mock is the author of the poetry collection Ruthless (Three Candles Press). His poems have appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, The Georgia Review, The Iowa Review, New England Review, The North American Review, Shenandoah, The Sewanee Review, The Southern Review, and elsewhere. Mock teaches in the MFA program at SCSU and lives in New Haven with his wife, Margot Schilpp, and their daughters Paula and Leah.
