Webcast: 'China Town Hall -- Local Connections, National Reflections'

The Department of Political Science will participate Oct. 28 in a national conversation about the state of U.S-Sino relations, highlighted by a live webcast with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
 
The program, "CHINA Town Hall -- Local Connections, National Reflections," will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Engleman Hall, Room A120. It is an annual event organized by the National Committee on United Sates-China Relations. At Southern, an introduction and conversation with faculty from the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system will kick off the event. They will talk about the bilateral relationship from a Chinese perspective. At 7 p.m., the program turns to a live webcast of a conversation between Albright and Stephen A. Orlins, president of the National Committee on United States-China Relations. The event will conclude with a question-and-answer session.
 
The event is free and open to the public.
