Jurakán - Nation in Resistance documents the historical struggle of Puerto Rico, a Caribbean nation that refuses to disappear.  Home to more than 3 million people, the Caribbean archipelago of Puerto Rico has always been a colony. After centuries of Spanish control, Puerto Rico became a property of the world’s most powerful nation: the United States of America.  “Jurakán: Nation in Resistance” is a deep exploration of Puerto Rico’s colonial status, dignity and the pursuit of justice.
