SCSU THEATRE DEPARTMENT AND CRESCENT PLAYERS PRESENT AWARD-WINNING DRAMATIC COMEDY

"CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION"

Laugh and cry as you watch intertwined relationships develop among the participants of a creative-drama acting class in "Circle Mirror Transformation," presented by Southern Connecticut State University's Theatre Department and Crescent Players, and directed by Kaia Monroe Rarick, in SCSU's Lyman Center on April 29 – May 3 at 8 p.m. and May 4 at 2 p.m.

In 2010, the portrayal of complicated friendships and hilariously awkward incidents in "Circle Mirror Transformation," written by Annie Baker, brought an OBIE award for Best New American Play, and the play was featured on the New York Times' and The New Yorker's "Top Ten" lists.

Director and choreographer Rarick of SCSU's Theatre Department graduated with a master of fine arts degree in acting from the Professional Training Program at University of Missouri-Kansas City, and has over 20 years of professional experience as an actor, singer and dancer.

Tickets for "Circle Mirror Transformation" are $10 for the general public, and seating is limited. For additional information visit lyman.southernct.edu or call the Lyman Center box office at (203) 392-6154.
